Dear Guardian/Step Parent God will surely reward you if you do a good job in bringing up that child under your care.
Mordecai was an excellent guardian to Esther in the bible. He took Esther as a child when she lost her parent and brought her up well(Esther 2:7). He never took advantage of her or maltreated/abused her like some step parents/guardians do. He treated her well as his own child and cared for her(Esther 2:11)
He was so influential in Esther’s life that she followed his instructions and never took any decision without consulting him(Esther 2:20). Mordecai understood his role in Esther’s life and he utilized it well by being a great guardian and parent
At the end of the day the child Mordecai was privileged to parent got into the palace and was chosen by God to save the children of God from the enemy(Esther 4:14). God also rewarded Mordecai through Esther being in the place. If Mordecai didn’t train Esther well she would have messed up in the palace and I wonder what would have been the fate of Gods people.
Mordecai was greatly rewarded for all his efforts (Esther 8:1,2,15). I plead with every step parent/guardian to keep going. Every good seed down in the lives of those children will reap a bountiful harvest.
