The Aftermath of child abuse on any child is usually destructive.
It affects them psychologically, emotionally, physically and even academically.
Some children and teenagers take a long time to get out of it, many struggle with it for the rest of their lives.
Abusers are everywhere in the society, we have abusive fathers, mothers, aunties, uncles, foster parents, teachers, the list is endless.
This must be stopped before it brings further damage to children and society at large.
If we must STOP child abuse, we must start by becoming responsible parents, guardians, teachers, relatives and , neighbours to any child/ teenager under our supervision.
Ending child abuse in Nigeria must be a collective effort.
