*Education and awareness*: Teach your kids about their rights, personal boundaries, and appropriate behaviors from a young age.
Educate them about different forms of abuse, how to recognize them, and how to seek help.
▪️ *Encourage open communication and establish an atmosphere of trust where children feel comfortable discussing any concerns*.
▪️ *Nurture loving and respectful relationships*: Promote healthy and nurturing relationships within families, schools, and communities.
*Encourage positive interactions, empathy, and compassion* Teach your children to respect others and to expect respect in return.
▪️ *Empower children* : Teach children to assert themselves and say “no” to unwanted or inappropriate actions. *Help them develop confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth.* Encourage them to trust God and report any incidents of abuse to a trusted adult.
▪️ *Responsible parenting*: Including effective discipline, emotional support, and healthy communication.
*Lead by example and provide a nurturing and safe environment for your children.*
▪️ *Background Checks*: *Implement thorough background checks and screening processes for individuals working with you and your children* *in religious institutions, schools, and other organizations.*
▪️ *Reporting and intervention*: *Encourage a culture of reporting suspected abuse to the appropriate authorities, such as child protection agencies like GIANTS OF MY TIME* and others.
▪️ *Spiritual guidance and support*: Should be provided to survivors and their families, promoting healing and resilience.
*Remember, protecting children from abuse requires a collective effort involving families, communities, religious institutions, and society as a whole*. By promoting love, respect, awareness, and responsible actions, we can work towards creating a safer environment for children.

Father in the name of Jesus, help me to be sensitive and diligent in protecting any child under my care from abuse..Also I cover my children and teenagers with the blood of Jesus, none of them will be victims of abuse…2nd Samuel 22:2, Psalm 91:2-4.
